The ride follows desert tracks across the hills of the Agafay plateau. Your guide stops at the best viewpoints over the stony valleys and, on clear days, the snowy High Atlas peaks. The 2-hour loop goes deeper into the desert and gives more time to get comfortable with the quad. Riders who want a calm pace can tell the guide at the start; the group always goes at the speed of the slowest rider.
The sunset slot is the most photogenic: the hills turn orange and pink and the Atlas glows in the last light. Pickup is about 3 hours before sunset (around 15:15 in winter and 17:40 in June). Bring a warm layer, the temperature drops fast after sunset from October to April.
No driving licence is needed for the quad. Drivers must be at least 16 years old; younger children ride as passengers behind a parent. Your guide explains the controls and stays in front of the group for the whole ride.
